Software Engineer — Platform
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Our platform team owns the core policy administration and customer portal systems. We're looking for a backend-leaning engineer comfortable with distributed systems, APIs, and the kind of business logic that actually matters in insurance. 3+ years experience; Go and Python preferred.

Location: Chicago, IL or Remote (licensed states)
You'll handle auto and property claims from first notice of loss through settlement. This role requires excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a file load while keeping policyholders informed. Property and casualty adjuster license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days). 2+ years claims experience preferred.

You'll work closely with engineering, design, and our actuarial team to build features that make insurance less confusing and claims less painful. 4+ years of product management experience; insurtech or fintech background a plus but not required.

Join our actuarial and data science team to build and maintain the models behind our pricing and risk selection. You'll work with large structured datasets, collaborate closely with our FCAS-credentialed actuaries, and have real influence on how we underwrite risk. Strong Python and statistical modeling background required; insurance domain knowledge helpful but not required.
